Synopsis

Mark Twain wrote two short stories," The Diary of Adam (As Translated By Mark Twain)," and "The Diary of Eve (Complete)".  He wrote them nearly fifteen years apart, at very different points in his life, both during some of his darkest days:  while struggling with sinking fortunes, and then the failing health of his wife.  This theatrical adaptation mash-up, by David Birney, preserves the brilliant language that makes Mark Twain  America's most original author and humorist.  In this new production, director Danette Christine explores the "aged and moldy" story of creation and love through Twain's exquisitely chosen words and voices of our eclectic American identity.  The production features eight actors bringing to life, in all its joys and some of its sorrows, what Twain once referred to as "the damned human race."
